Artist Vincent Pacheco opens Smile Now, Cry Later an immersive installation of sound, color, and, most importantly, PIÑATAS. The piñatas range from a nostalgic VHS tape of some favorite movies from his Chicano upbringing in San Francisco to an oversized syringe - an artifact of his early proximity to close family members who were active in the Mexican Mafia and the drug trade.
